Autumn styles
The transitional period between styles has started there is a steady influx of new autumn/winter clothing styles heading into stores at the moment, many of which can be introduced into your wardrobe now, even though we are still in summer. This year women’s clothing has seen a return to very flattering and feminine styles, with pretty pastel colours, floral patterns and lacy clothes, and this is also appearing in the autumn clothing.

Nudes
Although military styles and country chic styles will be big as the weather gets colder with their heavy materials and lot of layers, it’s the new trends that we can wear now that we are most interested in. Nudes were a popular summer trend and they are here to stay for autumn, the girly patterns and materials will instead be given a tougher edge with chunky, heavy boots and new season jackets. Denim, leather and fur (of the faux kind) are big players and give a new season look to the spring summer styles, which is great if you don’t want to spend extra money and they are great transitional pieces.

Jackets
The same goes for spring/summer’s floral trend for autumn/winter gone are the lighter pastel colours and instead deep, richer shades with bolder patterns, and great autumnal colours. You can go for floral tops with jeans and boots or a pretty floral dress with thick tights and tough boots for a mixture of girly and tough. Autumn/winter is a season of mixing your styles and making the most of your summer ones.
