Bingo T-shirts?
T-shirts are perhaps the ultimate throwaway fashion item. Cheap to produce, varying little in manufacture and fabrics they have become an ideal format for easy self-expression. There are so many custom t shirt printing options out there that it almost beggars belief. Anyone who has been on a hen or stag night recently has probably seen some very risqué designs indeed!
Nonetheless, one trend that has startled us is the adoption of bingo t-shirts. First seen doing the rounds last year, they have become a popular ‘ironic’ t-shirt for young hepcats who are playfully adopting the game that once belonged only to their grandmas.
Of course, it doesn’t take much imagination to see how certain numbers like *cough…. 69 ….. cough* have a certain cheeky appeal. Nor are there any shortage of plays on the word ‘balls’. It’s unlikely that this fashion trend is likely to spill over into the mainstream but as the kids flock to play online bingo in numbers that were unimaginable a few short years ago who knows?
Maybe in a year we’ll be seeing bluerinses on the catwalks of Milan!
