Follow the LA fashion trail left by the Hills
The hit American MTV show The Hills has now come to an end however its impact on young people around the world could probably not be envisioned when it first started over six seasons ago. The premise of the show followed the life and loves of young girls in the Hollywood Hills, we met, somewhat unknowns who have now become house hold names and no more so that the series main character Lauren Conrad, following them doing what they do best largely shopping, drinking and arguing.
What is a reality show has had a huge influence of fashions, designers, eating out and restaurants in and around LA where it’s set, and although it’s a reality show because this is Hollywood its become fiction than reality with clever set ups and great advertisement for many. The locations featured have become as famous as some of the show’s characters such as Les Deax nightclub, on Las Palmas Avenue in the heart of Hollywood, the original residence of Lauren and her roommate Heidi Hillside Villas, which is actually an apartment block called Villas at Park La Brea and favorite haunt of Heidi and Spencer, Don Antonio’s in West Hollywood (11755 Pico Boulevard). Other restaurant and bar hot spots that picked up business because of it also include Katsuya, Ketchup and Social Hollywood.
